Nose

• Raisin syrup-like sweetness blended with dried fruits such as dates and figs, dark chocolate, caramel, and a hint of roasted nuts.

Taste

• Full-bodied and silky, with the same PX sweetness as in the aroma. The taste repeats notes of dates and figs, supported by chocolate, caramel, and a light roast; a warm, spicy edge may appear.

Finish

• Long and sweet, with lingering fruity notes and cocoa; a slight dryness and soft warmth from the cask.

Body and Texture

• Thicker, oily mouthfeel; smooth and full-bodied.
