History
- 1938: Founded as Senju Lead Works Co., Ltd. (Senju Lead Works).
- 1939: Started production of wire solder, solder bar, resin flux-cored solder and lead water pipes.
- 1944: The company name was changed to Senju Metal Industry Co., Ltd.
- 1956: Acquired soldering and marking qualifications in accordance with JIS (Head Office).
- 1963: Successful domestic production of sprinkler heads for firefighting.
- 1966: Established a factory in Moka City, Tochigi, Japan.
- 1977: Developed silver-cored solder balls.
- 1979: Developed oil-free Clean Metal bearings.
- 1980: Finalized development of the first fully automatic soldering machine.
- 1982: Finalized development of the first reflow oven.
- 1985: Began exporting solder production equipment to China and entered into technical partnerships with Chinese manufacturers.
- 1990: Established production and sales bases in Malaysia. Newly established Iwate Plant (Senju Sprinkler Co., Ltd.).
- 1997: Established Senju Comtek Corp. in California, USA.
- 2001: Began selling lead-free solder material M705, which became JEITA standard.
- 2002: Began full-scale production in Huizhou, China.
- 2004: Established SENJU METAL (THAILAND) CO., LTD.
- 2005: Completed the new headquarters building.
- 2006: Established SENJU KOREA CO., LTD.
- 2012: Construction of the new research building Nissin Lou near the headquarters was completed.
- 2014: Acquired official membership in EICC and CFSI.
- 2015: Announced full abolition of conflict minerals and began selling LEO, the world’s first Sn–Bi series and flux-cored solder.
- 2017: SENJU MANUFACTURING EUROPE S.R.O. began operations in the Czech Republic.

Lead-Free Solder (ECOSOLDER)
- The ECOSOLDER range includes many alloys such as M705 (Sn-3.0Ag-0.5Cu), M31 (Sn-3.5Ag-0.75Cu), M714 (Sn-3.8Ag-0.7Cu), M715 (Sn-3.9Ag-0.6Cu), M710 (Sn-4.0Ag-0.5Cu), M771 (Sn-1.0Ag-0.7Cu) and others.
- There are also low-Ag content / Ag-free solutions such as M35 (Sn-0.3Ag-0.7Cu), M20 (Sn-0.75Cu) and M24MT/M24AP (Sn-0.7Cu-Ni-P-Ge and Sn-0.6Cu-Ni-P-Ge).
- In addition, high-reliability variants are offered for power semiconductors (e.g., M10, M14, M754, M709, M760HT, etc.).
Flux for flux (flux variants)

Reflow FA equipment
- The reflow ovens include the SNR-GT series (through-flow and upgraded models), SNR-GT-W (non-stop, dual-chamber), SNR-GT-H (420°C profile), SNR-MB (bump-forming), SVR series (ventilation and nitrogen-atmosphere) and SAR-825GT (air-based).
Spray Fluxers (SSF2 series)
- SSF2-400 and SSF2-500 with detailed dimensions and specifications included (conveyor belt, heights, speeds, pressures, etc.).
