History
La Roja was born out of the desire to challenge traditions and participate in a craft-based and organic revolution. The grains come from locally certified organic farmers, and they actively participate in sowing and harvesting. Production is limited, and they control every step from grain to bottle to ensure exceptional quality. The House under Moulin Bornu, also known as The Middle of the World, is a story of passion, flavor exploration and a constant quest for excellence. Dry Gin won silver shortly after its launch at the China Wine & Spirits Awards 2019 in Hong Kong and bronze at the IWSC 2019 in London.
Production / Manufacturing
La Roja is built on organic and locally produced raw materials. The grains come from locally certified organic farmers, and they participate in sowing and harvesting. They control every step—from grain to bottle—to ensure high quality. The base for Dry Gin is made from organic oats grown less than 15 km from the distillery. The gin is distilled in small batches, triple distilled and unfiltered with selected organic botanicals for a clear expression.
Silencio n°1 – Single Cask Single Malt is based on locally produced, certified organic Swiss grain and aged three years in oak barrels. A QR code on each bottle allows tracing the story from field to bottle.
Tempestad n°1 – Single Cask Rye Whisky is a pure grain whisky distilled from Swiss-certified organic unmalted rye. The rye is smoked for over 13 hours with Swiss cherry and white oak and is then aged in Pineau des Charentes casks for 25 years to achieve tempestuous complexity.

Silencio is described as the first parcellaire single malt and provides a clear terroir expression through three years of aging in oak barrels. Tempestad is described as a pure grain whisky with smoky notes, arising from a combination of smoke and Pineau des Charentes casks, and the rye is smoked first.
