History

  • The Jesche Distillery was founded by Willi Jesche. After Willi Jesche's death, the world of Edelbrände lost one of Austria's best schnapps brewers. Over the years, no successor was found until Petra Petschar in 2019 decided to take over the distillery in Winklern. She was already connected through her grandmother to the Jesche family, who were involved in agriculture and gastronomy. After numerous distilling courses at home and abroad, she has since produced only pure fruit brandy without added sugar or aroma additives.

Production / Manufacturing

  • In Edelmanufaktur in the Kärntner Gegendtal, the Jesche Distillery produces single-variety brandies, all made from 100% fruit and without added sugar or aroma additives. In addition, they produce London Dry Gin, which won gold in 2021 at the World Gin Awards.

  • Ab Hof sales (direct sales from the distillery).
