History Echuca Distillery is located in Echuca Moama and distills and bottles in the legendary port town on the Murray River. The distillery is born from a deep passion for spirits and the traditional craft of distillation. Co-founders and head distiller David De Vries and his wife Fiona led the company from a similar background in the flavour- and fragrance-industry to pursue gin and other distilled products in the Echuca region.

Events and future arrangements Spirit of the Murray 2025 is an upcoming craft spirit festival in Echuca in September 2025, where craft distilleries from Victoria and the Murray region gather to showcase a wide range of spirits and beverages. At the festival there will be whisky, rum, gin and many other products available for tasting and presentation.

Philosophy and approach According to the The Passion and The Magic sections, Echuca Distillery's work is built on a belief that gin and other spirits are formed through nature's botanicals, an Italian copper style and a scientific approach to distilling. They highlight the use of natural botanicals from around the world and the use of their copper still Lavendre to create their distillation and flavor.
