History
Located in the Glen Ireh Estate in Perth, just a 15-minute drive from Launceston, Tasmania, you will find Adams Distillery – home to our award-winning Tasmanian Single Malt Whisky and Boutique Gin. Our distillery thrives through a fusion of premium Tasmanian ingredients, pristine environmental conditions, and traditional and innovative distillation and maturation methods. Adams Distillery will be 10 years old in 2025. In a short time we have experienced both highs and lows, but we look forward to the opening of our new distillery within the next 12 months.
Production
Our craft is built on a fusion of premium Tasmanian ingredients, beautiful surroundings, and a balance between traditional and innovative distillation and maturation methods. Our unique 'Sloshing' process contributes to the exceptional quality, natural colors, and distinctive aromas and character in Adams' single malt whisky. Our Signature Series is built on ex-bourbon casks as the foundation, and the flavor gains further body through ex-Pinot Noir, sherry, port, maple syrup, and Tipo Jerez (Mexican sherry) cask finishes – creating a layered and exciting journey.
