History
Maison Fisselier is an artisanal Breton liqueur firm founded in 1968 by Jacques Fisselier, described as a Breton artisan liqueur maker and creator of liqueurs and spirits since 1968. Inspired by the heritage of the Breton territory and family ties, the first generation opened Breton liqueurs in Rennes and later moved to PacĂ©. In 1997 Emmanuel Fisselier took over the leadership; at the start of his tenure the company moved to Chantepie, and the family traditions were continued. Fleur de Caramel was launched in 1997, and in 2018 the company moved to PacĂ© to accommodate growth. In 2023 Likor Breizh Lanndevenneg was launched as a new production division. Fisselier is a family-owned business with roots in Brittany and has received recognition for craftsmanship: the label «Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant» and in 2022 the Excellence Artisanale award from the Chambre de MĂ©tiers et de lâArtisanat de Bretagne.
Production and the company's context
Since 1968, Maison Fisselier has offered liqueurs and spirits inspired by Breton terroir. Production takes place in PacĂ© in IlleâetâVilaine and in LandĂ©vennec, where Likor Breizh is produced 100% artisanally in a dedicated production site. Likor Breizh is based on local ingredients and on partnerships (e.g., Likor Breizh Lanndevenneg is created in collaboration with Distillerie du Gorvello), and the products contain natural ingredients without artificial flavors or preservatives; once opened they should be enjoyed within 6 months.
Products and whisky connection
The company produces a Breton Whisky IGP, aged 3 years in oak casks, and is a blend from distilleries in Brittany. Breton Whisky IGP has aromas of grain, roasted grain, toasted bread and spices with a hint of peat, and a taste of light oak and vanilla with a finish of dried raisins. Breton Whisky IGP is 40% ABV and is available in bottle sizes of 70 cl and 5 cl. The whisky is recommended neat or with ice and is also used in classic cocktails such as Breton Whisky Sour.

They maintain regional roots by using local ingredients (e.g., Fraises de Plougastel) and by having products produced near the Breton region. The overall aim is to preserve and further develop Breton heritage through Likor Breizh and Breton Whisky IGP under the Maison Fisselier name.
