History
Distillerie du Périgord traces its roots back to Distillerie Lapouge, founded by Émile Lapouge in 1860 and later known as Distillerie du Périgord. The history highlights fruit eaux-de-vie with gold medals at the Paris World’s Fair in 1900 and the 1899 Brussels International Fair. In 1992, the company received the Laurier d’Or for quality and tradition. In 1980, the company expanded its activity to the production of fruit liqueurs with products for consumers and bulk for further processing. Located in the heart of Black Périgord, the company is known for its gastronomy and terroir. We have a boutique in Sarlat on Place de l'Hôtel de Ville. Passionate people and a constant strive for innovation by selecting raw materials of high sensory quality and mastering maceration and distillation processes. Whisky Lascaw is a blended whisky produced as an exclusive Scottish whisky blend. The series includes Whisky Lascaw 12 years, 15 years, 20 years and 5 years, as well as Box Whisky Lascaw 12 years.
Whisky Lascaw 12 years old - Exclusive Scottish whisky blend - Aged 12 years in oak casks that previously contained the Périgord truffle culinary specialty - Color: deep golden - Nose: fruit and spices, wood notes and a subtle note of truffle - Palate: robust and well-balanced - Finish: intense, fruity and slightly peated - Box Whisky Lascaw – 12 years old: limited edition, each bottle has a lot number and comes in a wooden box with a booklet
