Champlain Cognac Blended Whisky

Champlain is a wealth of historical influences and a balance between superior Canadian whisky and a family-owned Cognac tradition. CALDERA says they have created the world's first Canadian Whisky-Cognac blend.

Name's History

Champlain is named in honour of the great explorer Samuel de Champlain and his birthplace in the Cognac region of France. Cognac comes from one of the region's most famous family-owned distilleries, which also has vineyards in Grande Champagne and Fins Bois.

Hurricane 5

Blended Whisky Our handcrafted blended whisky is a traditional drink made from the season's homegrown malt and regional grains. The rye's spiciness is balanced in the finish, providing a crisp start and a rounded finish.

Name's History

Inside a barn we found the words “October 18 1939 Storm” written on a beam. The storm is officially recorded as Hurricane #5, and the tale tells of a stock that remains strong today.
