Beattie’s Distillers is built on five generations of agricultural artisanal pride. It all started with great-great-grandfather Roland Beattie, who came from Scotland in 1876. From the start he set the core values: Work hard, love what you do, and give back to the local community. Today Beattie’s Farms & Distillers is led by Ken Beattie and a committed team of family, farmers and distillery staff, who every day have a single ambition: To craft the world’s best flavor experiences. Production

Beattie’s produces farm-crafted spirits by using only the soul of the potato as a base, which gives a smooth, naturally gluten-free spirit. Product descriptions highlight a creamy, buttery character with notes of almond and caramel and a smooth finish. The production is closely tied to Beattie’s farm and potato production and is based on sustainably grown potatoes.

Whisky Series

Charlie’s Original Whiskey is a corn-based whiskey that has matured in virgin white oak barrels for about 5.5 years. Charlie’s Rye Whiskey is a young rye whiskey that has matured for about 3 years and presents itself as light in flavor, suitable for ice or in cocktails.

Other

In addition to whiskey, vodkas based on potatoes are produced, along with potato-based products such as Sweet Potato Vodka, Strawberry Vodka, Blueberry Lemongrass Vodka, Peppermint Vanilla Vodka, as well as Potato Gin and Poitín, an Irish-inspired potato moonshine aged in American oak barrels. The products are sold directly online and are available via LCBO in Ontario.
