History

Vareler Brauhaus & Brennerei is a combination of a brewery, guesthouse, and restaurant in Varel. The company emphasizes its love of its homeland and aims to create a maritime atmosphere where guests can experience locally linked products and processes.

Production / Manufacturing

Since 2008, the house has its own Tide Bio-Bier, which is organic and brewed in its own brewery. Organic ingredients are used, and the brewery is certified under DE-ÖKO-003. The process and brewing are often presented in the Sudhaus, and guests are welcome to participate in one of the house's tours to gain insight into the brewery's workflow.

Products / Whisky Series

The house produces Tide Bio-Bier, marketed as organic beers. The range includes Tide Winter, Tide Dunkel, Tide Pils, Tide Bock, Tide Weizen, Tide Hopp, and Tide Lager. Two seasonal brews are also mentioned: Tide Bock and Tide Bio-Bier Winter. These are the house's bio-produced products and are brought into production in connection with the in-house brewing activity.

Visits / Experiences

The house-owned brewery offers the opportunity to see the process in Sudhaus and hear about the brewing processes through tours. There is the possibility of inquiries and visits via the house's offerings, including various events around beer and brewery experiences.

Philosophy

Emphasis is placed on preserving and celebrating the homeland through a maritime atmosphere and a range of products made in-house. The focus on quality and authenticity through in-house production is highlighted, along with an environmentally conscious approach, including the use of organic ingredients and a sustainable approach to raw materials and processes.

Notes

The website also mentions a broader group of offerings (hotel, Aal & Krabbe, Kombüse) and a general commitment to environmental considerations and sustainability, reflecting the company's overall philosophy regarding homeland, quality, and interaction with the maritime environment.
