History

Since 2008, the Steinhauser family in Kressbronn has been distilling Brigantia, the first single malt whisky from Lake Constance, named after Lacus Brigantius. The roots of the family business go back to 1828, and today they combine the historical distilling techniques from 1890 with modern distillation art.

Production

The whisky ages in oak casks in the old wooden stable, and the maturation is accompanied by music from the region.
