History

Preuschens Edelbrandbrennerei was founded in 1968 in Hundsboden on the basis of a 'Schnapsidee'. For three generations the principle 'Quality before quantity' has been their guiding aim.

Production

We grow all our fruit on Streuobstwiesen around Hundsboden to protect wildlife and preserve the Franconian landscape. Short distances to the orchards allow picking the fruit at full ripeness. To be able to enjoy our delicacies locally, the former cow stable was converted into a tasting room for up to 50 guests, and the range has expanded to more than 30 different brandies, spirits and liqueurs. Gin and whisky are also part of our range. Since 2008 we have been part of the Charlemagner Gemeinschaft and are proud to offer our own Apfelsekt in light and rosé varieties.

Products / Whisky Series

Whisky is now part of our range (along with gin and other brandies, spirits and liqueurs). We also mention Apfelsekt as part of the community since 2008. The content does not provide details about specific whisky types.

Visits / Experiences

The former cow stall has been converted into a tasting room for up to 50 guests, enabling tastings and experiences locally.

Philosophy

The motto 'Quality before quantity' remains in focus: we cultivate fruit locally, protect biodiversity, and deliver enjoyment with the fruit in the glass.
