Historie

Old Sandhill whisky has been produced in Bad Belzig since 2012. The name comes from the former Sandberg district, where the brewery and distillery are located.

The whisky is a single malt distilled in Bad Belzig and aged in its own oak casks for at least five years before it can be served.

Old Sandhill is a single malt whisky produced by Burgbräuhaus Bad Belzig and the Eggenstein private brewery; the name refers to the Sandberg district where the brewery is located.

Besøg / Oplevelser

Visitors can take a guided tour of the brewery and distillery to see behind the scenes and learn about the brewing and distilling processes. If you can't visit in person, Old Sandhill can be purchased online, including a gift set with two matching glasses. The tour requires a minimum of 15 people and costs EUR 12 per person, including a beer (0.3 liter) of your choice.
