History
Private Kornbrennerei H. Heydt has a long history, spanning over 160 years of distilling tradition. The first documented instance of Heydt distilling corn was in 1772. In 1860 the company was registered as an agricultural distillery. The Heydt family runs the business today in its fifth generation.

The range includes Korn-Destillate, liqueurs, and local specialties. Korn-Destillate is cited as the base product, and Heydt Manufaktur for small-series production.
