Historie
Eschenbräu is described as a Hausbrauerei in Berlin’s Wedding, delivering unfiltered beer with a natural character. The website makes clear that the brewery is marking a 25-year jubilee with celebrations around January 2026 and a reopening on 16 January 2026, including a G.O.A.T. BockBier tapping. In addition, there is an emphasis on craftsmanship, tradition and a close connection to the Wedding area.
Produktion og Fremstilling
The brewery describes a traditional, traceable brewing process: - Mash: Malt scraps and water are drawn off to yield about 1300 L of wort per batch. - Mash and boiling: After the malt scraps are mixed and boiled, hops are added throughout the process. - Fermentation: The wort is fermented at 8°C in the fermentation tanks with yeast. - Lagering: The young beer is moved to lager cellars and continues to develop. - Commitment to unfiltered and non-pasteurized beer: The naturally hazy beer is preserved, and the brewery emphasizes that the beer is not pasteurized, which preserves vital vitamins and flavors.
In addition, it is noted that Eschenbräu production takes place directly from tank to glass—fresh and without unnecessary pretreatment, with a constant focus on fresh products from the brewery.

- On 7 October 2025 there was a Whisky tasting with six malts, accompanied by crispbread and water; participation fee was €42, and tickets could be purchased at Eschenbräu and in the online shop.
Besøg og Oplevelser
Eschenbräu runs a guesthouse with a beer cellar and a beer garden, as well as a strong presence in Berlin Wedding. There is an option to reserve tables from September 22 at 17:00, and there is room for larger groups, with important restrictions in connection with events (Anstich dates) where reservations are not possible. Their beer and food—including Flammkuchen and organic pretzels—are served in the garden and cellar. In addition to the regular range of beer and food, Eschenbräu also participates in Christmas markets such as Domäne Dahlem with Eschenbrenner Whisky and Brände for tasting and gifts.
