History

Herbert Schulz bought Brennerei and Brennrecht in 1995 to utilize surplus fruit from the family's more than 500 trees. Since then, the small Edelobstbrennerei Schulz has gained wide recognition in Franconia and has won many prizes. It is recommended to visit the distillery directly on site, where Herbert also has small educational panels for each fruit variety used, so you can learn about the rich Franconian fruit culture.

Production / Manufacturing

Single-varietal Edelbrände are Schulz's maxim. The distillery focuses on varieties of clear Edelbrände without blends, and there are information boards for visitors that inform about the Franconian fruit culture at each fruit variety.
