SENFT Destillerie is a family-owned distillery by Lake Constance. Tradition since 1987. As a family-owned distillery by Lake Constance, our passion for the art of distillation is at the center. Tradition and modern techniques go hand in hand, and we create unique, high-quality creations. With great care and dedication we process only the best, hand-selected raw materials, many of which come from our own farmland. This allows us to monitor the raw materials from soil to distillation and guarantee first-class spirits. We operate more than 14 hectares of our own farmland.

Produktion / Fremstilling

After distillation our spirits rest in stainless steel tanks, and our Whisky, Vodka and some noble brandies mature in barrique casks. The wood gives them the warm color and character. We distill and age especially our Whisky, Vodka and some noble brandies in barrique casks.

The distillation process and craftsmanship yield a clean and complex flavor.

Meersburg Whisky was distilled in 2014 and ages over the years in different wooden casks, ultimately for more than two years behind Burg Meersburg's walls. The bottled editions are highly limited and bear Burg Meersburg's history.

Bodensee Whisky is a single malt from the Bodensee region, made from Bodensee fruits and matures in different casks, and ages at Burg Meersburg for a longer period.

Besøg / Oplevelser

We offer tours of our distillery through Erlebnis Destillerie. Tastings provide a unique opportunity to experience the craftsmanship behind our spirits and hear about raw materials and the distillation processes. We also gain insight into the whisky storage and taste whisky directly from the heart of the cask.

Our tastings include: - Erlebnis Tasting – a delight for all the senses (2.5 hours) from €24.00 per person, and includes a selection of noble brandies, liqueur, gin, whisky and rum, as well as a distillation tour and a secret gift. - Praline x Distillate – 2 hours, €49.00 per person, where a sommelier and chocolatier present aromas and 4 pralines together with a suitable distillate. - Tasting Lounge – every Thursday at 5:00 PM (June to September), no registration. - Group Tastings – for companies and larger groups (min. 25 people).

Parking is available as P1 in front of the direct sales area and P2 near the tasting showroom.

Tasting experiences are also available as gift cards, and there are overnight accommodations in the area.

Our values are quality, tradition, and regionality. We are a family business and are deeply rooted in the Lake Constance region and respect nature. We source raw materials locally and perform strict quality control from soil to bottle to ensure consistently high quality.
