Historie
Drexler-destilleriet is located in Arrach in Bayerischer Wald and was founded in 1984 by Reinhard Drexler. In the beginning, Bärwurz, Blutwurz, herbs and fruit liqueurs were produced. Since 2007 Drexler has also produced whisky. Approximately 4,000 litres of whisky are produced annually and mature for at least 3 years in both new and used casks. The oldest whisky currently available for sale is No1 Single Malt Cask Whisky, aged in sherry casks for 10 years.
Produktion/Fremstilling
Drexler uses clear mountain spring water for the malt. Whisky is produced and matured for at least 3 years in both new and used casks. Types of whisky that Drexler produces include malt whisky (with casks such as sherry, bourbon, cognac or port wine), rye whisky, peated malt whisky, whisky liqueur and cask-strength whisky.

The oldest whisky for sale is No1 Single Malt Cask Whisky, aged in sherry casks for 10 years. There are malt whiskies with different casks (sherry, bourbon, cognac or port wine), rye whisky, peated malt whisky, whisky liqueur and products with cask strength. Brand names include Marys Eierlikør mit Whisky, Bayerwoid, No1, Woid Whisky and Moor.
