History

The small distillery is a Swabian whisky distillery in Remstal. Founded in 2008. Headquarters: 71384 Weinstadt in Baden-Württemberg. They grow corn and wheat themselves on their fields and harvest with their old-timer combine harvester, so they know exactly what ends up in the glass. The first whisky distillation took place in 2008. Master Distiller is Karin Sigle. They are enthusiastic about Remstal and make a Swabian whisky that reflects traditions and qualities from the land and the people. Swabian diligence, craftsmanship, a touch of inventor's spirit, attention, and patience, together with the long wine production tradition in Remstal, produce a whisky of a special kind.

Production

The essential flavor of the whisky comes primarily from the careful distillation of the whole mash, which gives the whisky its powerful, full-bodied character and grainy profile. For maturation they use 220 L barrique casks from well-known wineries in Remstal, which are carefully selected to give the whisky its spicy and powerful aroma.
