History

Bergwelt Brennerei is located in the Allgäu and focuses on premium brandies, whisky, and quality spirits. The founder, Andreas von Bergwelt, has worked with whisky for many years and established Bergwelt Brennerei in 2017. The distillery is described as one of the most modern whisky distilleries in the Allgäu.

Production/Manufacturing

Sustainable and craftsmanship-centered production is central. We offer the possibility to distill and age your own whisky cask together with them and choose various high-quality oak barrels from 30 to 225 liters. The cask is filled with their unique "New Make" Single Malt, which has an alcohol strength of 65% ABV.

After a maturation period of three years, the whisky is personally bottled by Master Distiller Andreas von Bergwelt in exclusive bottles bearing the original Bergwelt coat of arms. The barrels are carefully selected and provide high added value, as the whisky develops in quality and flavor over the years. Owning your own whisky cask can also be a capital investment with substantial growth potential. The ingredients and techniques thrive on our own Bio-Plantation, where the raw materials are grown and processed, supporting a high quality in production.

Products/Whisky Series

White Mountain Single Malt Whisky

White Mountain Single Malt Whisky is distilled from five different specialty malts and thus a whisky product of the highest quality.

First Fill Bottle (limited edition)

The strictly limited edition consists of 999 bottles filled from three American white oak (White Oak) casks with Medium Plus Toast from World Cooperage. After three years of maturation, the first Bergwelt Whisky (ABV 46%) was bottled in exclusive 500 ml bottles with the original Bergwelt coat of arms. The bottles are numbered and delivered in an elegant gift box with two whisky glasses in gold print, a certificate personalized to your name, and a 50 ml sample. Ensures a bottle with high collectible value.

Other products

In addition to whisky, Bergwelt Brennerei also produces other exclusive specialties, including Bergwelt Gin, Allgäuer Elderberry Balsamic Vinegar, and Allgäuer Hazelnut Liqueur (Nüssle).
