History

Niagara Craft Spirits is a NYS Farm Distillery in Cambria, NY, within the Right-To-Farm environment and just a short drive from the Niagara Wine Trail with seven wineries in the area. The microdistillery produces small batches of handmade spirits, including white and barrel-aged whiskey as well as gin, made with locally grown ingredients. According to the website, they are temporarily closed until spring 2024. The distillery offers the opportunity to see production through a window and to offer tours during special opening hours.

Production

Niagara Craft Spirits is described as a microdistillery producing a selection of small batches of handmade spirits, including white and barrel-aged whiskeys and gin, produced with locally grown ingredients. In addition to the regular products, 1808 Silver Corn Whiskey (and a smoked version as well as a 125 proof version) is highlighted, 1808 Gin (including Sinferno, a spicy cinnamon gin), 1808 Gold Bourbon Whiskey produced and aged on-site using local ingredients, and 1808 Vodka made from 100% corn from a nearby farm (claimed 10% stronger and smoother than typical vodka). You can view the distillation equipment through a window or participate in a tour on Saturdays.

The tasting room offers tastings with a souvenir glass and occasionally special cocktails. You can view the distillation equipment through a window or participate in a tour during special hours. The address is 4408 Ridge Road (Rt 104), Cambria, NY. According to the visit-us page, opening hours are Saturdays 12:00–18:00 and Sundays 12:00–17:00. Bus groups: we do not accept bus groups after 3:30 PM and are advised to call ahead to ensure the small tasting room can accommodate the group (about 20 people).
