History

New Deal Distillery is a Portland-based distillery in Oregon that produces small-batch spirits and is deeply rooted in the Pacific Northwest. Pear Brandy is produced in partnership with Pereday Orchard in Historic Columbia River Gorge, and the entire production takes place at the distillery in Portland's Central Eastside. Pear Brandy is described as Oregon-grown and Portland-made.

Production/Manufacturing

The production combines craft and local collaboration: - Old Tom Gin: aged in Oregon wine-based barrels, developing warm, amber-toned notes. - Pear Brandy: produced from 100% hand-picked Hood River Bartlett pears; the entire process takes place in the distillery. - Coffee Liqueur: coffee beans extracted via cold brew and blended into batch-distilled spirits with sugar and agave. - Ginger Liqueur: almost a pound of organic ginger per bottle; infused into batch-distilled spirits with agave and sugar; usable as a digestif and in cocktails. - Cascadia American Bitter Liqueur: herbaceous and bitter liqueur based on rose petals, lavender, with added gentian and angelica; leaves a floral, long bittersweet finish. - Cascara Liqueur: handmade with dried cascara, spirit, and cane sugar; reminiscent of raisins, figs, and tea with notes of dried fruit. - Mud Puddle Bitter Chocolate Vodka: handmade bitter-chocolate vodka infusion with cacao nibs; unsweetened, concentrated chocolate profile.
