History

Mystic Mountain Distillery is a Colorado-based distillery that produces American spirits and operates a Tasting Room in the area around Littleton and Thornton. The distillery markets itself with the slogan Elevated Elixirs and describes production as Crafted in our Tasting Room. They announce a 2025 Limited Release of Straight Whiskey and offer numbered bottles. In addition to whiskey they produce Colorado Blue Vodka, Colorado Fog Gin and Rocky Mountain Moonshine as well as a range of other products and recipes. The distillery participates in local events such as Whiskey Throwdown and Taste of Colorado, and a donation to veterans is made through the Hero Straight Whiskey project to Summit and Shore. Jonathon Nesvik is president of Mystic Mountain Distillery and attended Taste of Colorado in 2021. There is an option to become an Outlaw Member and receive exclusive offers and invitations to events and new product releases.

Production/Manufacturing

The productions are presented as Crafted in our Tasting Room. Hero Straight Whiskey is a Limited Release (750 ml, 50.5% ABV, 100 proof) aged 4 years in American oak barrels, contains 15% rye and is individually numbered and hand-labeled. There are also Outlaw Legend Barrel projects (6 gallon), signed and available for pickup in the MMD Tasting Room. The range includes other products and spirits from the Outlaw Whiskey Series as well as 4₂O Extractor and Colorado Fog Gin.

One can become an Outlaw Member and receive exclusive offers and invitations to events. Past events include Whiskey & Doughnuts (2022) and the People\'s Choice as Favorite Distillery at Whiskey Throwdown Doughnut Showdown at Taste of Colorado (2022). President Jonathon Nesvik attended Taste of Colorado in 2021. A portion of Hero Straight Whiskey sales goes to Summit and Shore for veterans.
