Baggrund

Billy the Kid, Jesse James, Butch Cassidy, Josie Wales – these are all famous outlaws who probably enjoyed good whiskey. Now we want to add two more to that list of famous lawbreakers – Sumit Vohra and Chris Mielke. Over a dram of small-batch whiskey in their favorite saloon they wondered how a craft brewery could expand into the wild west of the spirits market. They concluded that you should be bold, go against the current, and use whatever you have at hand to bring unique liquor into people's hands to enjoy. First and foremost – you should be an outlaw. That is what Lonerider Spirits does – we make spirits of outlaws for outlaws.

The brand is built around an unbridled, individual approach to spirits and an outlaw brand that comes together in the craft of small-batch, distinctive flavor experiences.

Fremstillingsfilosofi

Our first spirit is a high-rye bourbon, with its kick mellowed by sherry cask aging, but still a bourbon through and through — like a thoroughbred stallion.

Lagring og stil

The sherry cask finish is used to temper the kick in a robust bourbon and give depth to the finish.

90 PROOF 45% ALC/VOL Nose Cinnamon, Clove, Candied Fruit and Toffee Palate Vanilla Custard, Waffle Cone, Sherry, and Mild Cacao Finish Leather, Toasted Oak, and Pepper

Nutcracker Pecan Flavored Rye Whiskey

80 PROOF 40% ALC/VOL Nose Aromas of toffee, graham crackers, caramel, and toasted nuts. Palate Pecan pie, baking spices, and black pepper in the body. Finish Freshly whipped cream, pie crust, crème brûlée in the finish.

Snake Oil Whiskey

80 PROOF 40% ALC/VOL Nose Aromas of sweet corn, rye spice, buckwheat honey, and clove. Palate Almonds, pear, spiced apple, and hay in the body. Finish Lightly toasted oak, spun sugar, leather, tobacco in the finish.

Straight Bourbon Whiskey – Tequila Cask Finish

90 PROOF 45% ALC/VOL Nose Ripe pear, lemon verbena, just a hint of vanilla Palate Front end is subtle… cacao beans, leather and smoky blue agave over rye spice Finish Freshly baked bread, tart lime and tequila sharpness
