History
The two buildings that make up Lazy Guy Distillery are just around the corner from the Southern Museum of Civil War and Locomotive. Our office and distillation buildings date back to the 19th century and have a rich heritage. As whiskey production in America has undergone many changes over the years, whiskey has played a role in many American events and has even served as currency several times in history.
Production/Manufacturing
The distillery offers handcrafted spirit cocktails. We have a wide selection of handcrafted cocktails that change daily and showcase our spirits. Don't miss our seasonal cocktails.
Products/Whiskey Series
No specific whiskey products are mentioned in the content; the focus is on handcrafted spirit drinks and the spirits shown at the bar.
Visit/Experiences
We invite you to visit the distillery Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday to enjoy our handcrafted spirit cocktails. The bar is open Thursday 5:00-8:00 PM, Friday 5:00-9:00 PM, Saturday 2:00-9:00 PM and Sunday 2:00-6:00 PM. All seating is outdoors; there are covered decks with fans and outdoor shaded areas. There is room for about 75-80 guests on the property. There are no indoor or air-conditioned seating areas - ALL seating is outdoors. In the winter months the decks are closed and we provide heaters for comfort.
We offer limited tours of the distillation floor. We post on Facebook/Instagram on days when we hold tours. Private tours and facility rental are available for groups of 10+. Email media@lazyguydistillery.com or call 770 485 0081 if you would like to hear more about a private tour or renting our property for a special event.
Philosophy
Historical heritage and the changes the whiskey industry in America has undergone, as well as whiskey as part of American events and cultural heritage, shape our approach to craft and experiences through handcrafted cocktails and changing seasonal offerings.
