History Flag Hill is New Hampshire's oldest winery, largest vineyards, and oldest distillery, run by a family. The property became a vineyard in 1987 and started the winery in 1990. The distillery began in 2004 with vodka made from NH apples. The property sits on a 110-acre conservation area and is owned by Brian and Maddie Ferguson. The mission is to make great wine and whiskey, and everything at Flag Hill is rooted in quality – questions are asked whether a decision will make it better. Flag Hill functions as a full-service facility with wine tastings, a distillery and a venue for private events and gatherings.
Production / Manufacturing Flag Hill Distillery is shaped by estate growers and local ingredients, with focus on detail and patience as the foundation for world-class spirits. The distillery emphasizes that it is New Hampshire's oldest distillery and that everything made is the result of locally produced raw materials and a philosophy of quality. This includes a range of whiskey products based on American grains and a love of craftsmanship, with an emphasis on spirits that reflect the farm's own production and materials.

Philosophy Everything at Flag Hill is rooted in quality. They do not promise to do things purely out of tradition, and they commit not to follow traditions unless it makes the product better. All decisions are made with the question: Will this make it better?
