History

It all began around a campfire with good friends, as the talk turned to what you would be when you grew up. Loren Matthews had worked in the brewing industry for 15 years and then began distilling at home. She fell in love with distilling, and after a few years she took the leap and founded Elevation 5003 Distillery. She says that her parents have always supported her in pursuing a passion and not regretting taking chances. She is proud of the spirits they produce; the company is described as woman-owned and as a grain-to-glass distillery.

Their approach is a grain-to-glass distillery. Loren bought a distillation apparatus a few years ago and began distilling at home, which led to the passion behind the company and the production of spirits.
