History
Eastside Distilling started as a smaller rum importer in 2008 and was on Portland's Distillery Row. They are described as the country's first and only publicly traded craft distillery (NASDAQ: EAST). Over the course of 14 years the company has developed, matured and launched many award-winning spirits and expanded through acquisitions of Big Bottom Distilling, Motherlode Bottling Services, Craft Canning + Bottling and Azuñia Tequila. Craft Canning provides contract production in Oregon, Washington and Colorado and is the Northwest's leading source for contract bottling. Our greatest asset is the talented employees, without whom Eastside would not exist. This history is accompanied by a wide range of brands such as Burnside, Eastside and Azuñia, as well as a strong investor and management profile.
Production/Manufacturing
Driven by Pacific Northwest culture, Eastside produces a range of premium spirits and has an extensive portfolio of whiskey and other products. A Garryana finish on the Burnside whiskeys is highlighted, followed by finishes in Garryana casks. They also highlight an in-house American single malt that has been aged at least two years in American white oak barrels and later aged in French sherry casks. Azuñia Tequila is produced with 100 percent Weber Blue Agave and achieves USDA organic certification for some of their tequila varieties. The company also has contract bottling and distribution through Craft Canning + Bottling.
