Historie

Dry Hills Distillery is located in Bozeman, Montana and is run by fifth-generation farmers. The Droge family runs Droge Farm and London Hills Farm, where certified potatoes and cereals are grown. Jeff & Erica Droge are the leading figures and focus on creating authentic Montana-made spirits by tying production closely to the family’s fields. They call the concept farm-to-bottle, and all products are expected to be touched by hands-on craft from field to bottle. The company emphasizes that all products come from their own farms, and that the process is designed and carried out from field to bottle as a handmade Montana experience. They describe an approach that also includes contract distilling and product development for other brands, including the possibility to create customized mash-bills and to use ingredients such as Spring Wheat, Winter Wheat, Malt Barley, Corn, Rye and Potatoes.

Produktion / Fremstilling

Dry Hills emphasizes farm-to-bottle production, using Montana-grown grains and potatoes together with water from Hollowtop Mountain to produce spirits. The company offers private label and contract distilling, as well as product development and customized mash-bill solutions for customers. As a 100% farm-to-bottle distillery, they describe their ability to incorporate the finest ingredients from their own fields and to produce a neutral spirit or a whiskey that fits a brand’s profile. The product portfolio includes products such as Four Grain Straight Bourbon Whiskey and various Wheat Whiskeys as well as vodka and gin, all presented as Montana products where the whole process from field to bottle is under one roof. The company also advertises online sales via the Speakeasy platform with delivery subject to state regulations.
