Origins and Background

Belle of Dayton was founded in 2012 by two brothers and has since created a range of award-winning premium spirits rooted in Dayton's history and culture in Ohio.

Production and Innovation

Spirits are distilled the old-fashioned way with hard work and American craftsmanship. A 350-gallon copper pot still is used for production. The water comes from Dayton's Great Miami Buried Valley aquifer. Production follows small batches and craftsmanship, and the vodka is distilled from 100% corn.

Whisky Series

The distillery's whisky lineup includes Detrick Straight Rye Whiskey Batch 004, Detrick Full Proof Single Barrel Bourbon Batch 003, and Detrick Full Proof Single Barrel Rye Whiskey Batch 005. These products are described with mash bill and cask details on the product pages.

Visits and Experiences

Visitors can experience the distillery's craft through distillery tours. Tours are typically held on Thursdays at 6:30 PM and include a guided tasting in the Van Buren Room. Price: $10. Address: 122 Van Buren Street, Dayton, OH 45402. Online booking is recommended but not required, and there is space for up to 35 guests. Check-in is 30 minutes prior. All guests must be 21+ with valid ID.
