History

Beach Time Distilling is a small family-owned distillery in Lewes, Delaware. The distiller and co-founder, Greg Christmas, has been an avid homebrewer for more than 25 years. He lived in East Tennessee for five years, where he discovered lore about distilling. After seven years at Dogfish Head Craft Brewery, he decided to open his own craft distillery. Beach Time makes rum, vodka, gin, whiskey, specialty and seasonal spirits in small batches and emphasizes not stressing the yeast during natural fermentation. Slower fermentation yields a smoother and more stress-free product, which they call 'Leisurely Refined Spirits'. Beach Time also opened their tasting room on August 15, 2015. Production takes place using a 250-liter Polish distillation apparatus. Beach Time Distilling is a small distillery that produces ultra-premium handcrafted spirits in limited quantities.

Beach Time Distilling produces all products using a 250-liter Polish distillation apparatus and manufactures in small batches. All products are branded as 'Leisurely Refined Spirits' and reflect a slow, stress-free fermentation process. They produce Rum, Vodka, Gin, Whisky, Specialty and Seasonal Spirits.

Products/Whisky Series

The firm's range includes Rum, Vodka, Gin, Whisky, as well as specialty and seasonal spirits. One of their whisky products is Some Beach Malt Whiskey (Malt Whisky). The product list also includes Beach Fire Spiced Rum, Beach Gold Rum, Beach Nut Rum, Beach Plum Rum, Beach Town Rum, as well as Slack Tide Vodka and others.

Visits/Experiences

They have a tasting room and an online shop. Tours are held every Saturday at 11:00 AM, lasting about 45–60 minutes and including a tasting of their spirits. There is space for a maximum of 8 people per tour, and the price is $15 per person.
