Historie
Arrowood Farms started as a small hop farm and has evolved into a world-class brewery and now a distillery, a dining venue, and events venue in the Hudson Valley. On the farm we brew beer using ingredients from small farms, primarily in New York State. We are sustainable and support other farms. We produce both beer and spirits and serve locally inspired dishes.
Produktion / Fremstilling
We brew our beer on the farm using ingredients from small farms in New York, and all ingredients are 100% from NYS. We do not claim to add preservatives and let the ingredients express themselves naturally. We work with wild yeast and our house culture is a collaboration with the bees that pollinate our farm. Our house culture originated by placing fresh wort at the beehive and isolating yeast strains from pollen scraped off by the bees; a house culture was born. We distill small batches of spirits on the farm using spring water from our farm and grains (wheat, rye and corn) grown locally in the Hudson Valley. Our spirits are made with NYS ingredients and are not blended. During the distillation of the grain, we achieve a rich flavor and a clear sense of time and place.
Produkter / Whisky-serien
Our whisky selection includes Bourbon and Rye Whiskey. Bourbon is aged in oak barrels and is made with locally grown Wapsie Valley wheat, corn, and barley. Single-batch, single-barrel edition. Rye Whiskey is also produced exclusively from NYS ingredients and water from the farm, and is aged in new American oak barrels for two years.
Besøg / Oplevelser
Our taproom and courtyard celebrate the beauty and abundance of the Hudson Valley. We welcome dinners and drinks, whether for special events or everyday gatherings. The menu changes weekly, and we host three kitchen pop-ups that rotate through the month. Follow us on Instagram for specials and behind-the-scenes content.
