History

Origin

Horse Soldier Bourbon and American Freedom Distillery are woven into one of America's most historic moments. Just days after 9/11, elite units of Green Berets were deployed to Afghanistan, some on horseback, and the soldiers were dubbed the Horse Soldiers. Their feats are recounted in the film 12 Strong and in the CNN documentary Legion of Brothers. The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey donated steel from the World Trade Center to Horse Soldier Bourbon, and the bottles were cast in molds from this steel to honor the spirit of courage and service that arose after the attack on our nation.

Production

Horse Soldier Bourbon is handcrafted with natural ingredients, from grain to glass, and bottled in the heart of America, aging to perfection. The traditional Premium Straight Bourbon Whiskey is 4 years old and non-chill-filtered, which provides a rich and decadent finish. The brand has won international awards, including Double Gold at the 2022 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. Due to federal regulations, a third-party fulfillment partner is used to fulfill orders.
