History

Almendra Winery & Distillery was established in 2001 by Berton Bertagna (known from Son Kissed Vineyards). It is a family-owned winery and distillery in Durham, Butte County. Almendra unites handcrafted wines with innovative spirits and has an on-site distillery. Monkey Face Spirits is one of the central products distilled on-site.

Production and Distillation

There is also a full-service restaurant that can serve food to accompany the wines, providing a combined wine and spirits experience.
