History

Virginia Sweetwater Distillery was founded in 2012 and is a craft distillery with the goal of delivering exceptional spirits. Located in Marion, Virginia – the heart of the central Appalachian Mountains. The production includes War Horn Whiskey, Virginia Sweetwater: White Water, and Amber Oak Branch. We recently won first place at the Walker Valley Moonshine Exhibition.

Production/Manufacturing

As a small craft distillery, we focus on traditional distilling methods and small batches. Distillery tours are offered by appointment and are conducted Monday through Saturday between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Each tour lasts about 45 minutes. During the tours you can talk with our mash master and gain insight into the distillation process.
