History

Two Brothers Brewing Company was founded in 1996 by brothers Jim and Jason Ebel. Their love of beer began during travels in Europe, where they discovered flavorful beers not available in the USA. This sparked a passion to create unique beers at home using the highest quality ingredients. The company is family-owned and committed to sustainability, independence, and a bridge between craft and community.

Besides the brewery, Two Brothers is pursuing a spirits venture under the name Two Brothers Artisan Spirits, a passionate commitment from two brothers who also operate distilling activities at Roundhouse in Aurora, Illinois.

Production / Manufacturing

Two Brothers Artisan Spirits is a venture driven by the passion of craft brewers. The distillation takes place in a state-of-the-art hybrid distillery located at Two Brothers Roundhouse in Aurora, IL. Distillation and spirits activities are part of a broad portfolio that also includes packaging updates and an upcoming range of products.

Artisan Spirits focuses on quality and craft and pushes the boundaries of flavor and innovation in craft spirits, with a new look and packaging.

Products / Whisky Series

Two Brothers Artisan Spirits has plans for a full 750 ml line consisting of modern products such as Modern Gin, Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur and Roundhouse Small Batch Bourbon. There are already existing spirits products and limited single-variant releases such as Roundhouse Small Batch Bourbon (a bourbon). Their offerings also include formats around 'ready-to-drink' cocktails and other spirits under the umbrella of Two Brothers Artisan Spirits.

Visits / Experiences

Two Brothers Distillery offers guided tours every Saturday at 2:00 PM in Roundhouse in Aurora, about a 45-minute tour followed by a spirits tasting. The tours are free and include a tasting afterwards. Event details and contact information can be found through distillery-related pages.
