History

Tighe Brothers Distillery are third-generation Denver residents. Paul and Danny Tighe (Paul & Danny) developed a passion for making their own spirits, inspired by their grandfather Jack McLaughlin, who was a bourbon connoisseur. Throughout the process of building the distillery and shaping the detailed craft of their spirits, Paul and Danny were closely involved in developing the dream. A focus on emphasizing their Colorado-sourced identity with a grain-to-glass approach. An important part of the story is that working with their small 25-gallon still over three years led to a recipe for a particularly smooth and flavorful bourbon, which became the cornerstone of Tighe Brothers Distillery.

Production

  • The production philosophy is to work with a small 25-gallon still and develop the recipe over a three-year period to achieve a distinctly smooth and flavorful bourbon.
