Route 40 Brewing & Distilling sits in the mountains of Western Maryland and focuses on craft and careful selection of beer and spirits. They blend traditional brewing and distilling with a forward-looking eye, resulting in beers and liqueurs that customers are expected to love.

Visits / Experiences

Speakeasy - Route 40's exclusive tasting room, tucked in the basement beneath The Hotel Gunter, with a bar and wood features crafted from locally sourced wood. Biergarten offers outdoor seating, a full bar, and weekly events such as trivia, happy hour, and live music. The Speakeasy is open Thursday through Sunday with varying hours; the Biergarten is open more Thursday through Saturday.
