History

Pennington Distilling Co. was established in 2011 and is located in Nashville, Tennessee. The Pennington family runs the business; Jeff and Jenny Pennington are described as a family-owned operation driven by a love of craftsmanship. Whisky takes time: aging in oak barrels defines the flavor, and the time surrounding the process is central. Whisper Creek Tennessee Sipping Cream was the company's first product, and it quickly became a notable part of the brand. Davidson Reserve Whiskey was introduced in 2017 as the company's first whiskey, a Rye, and since then there have been more variants: Davidson Reserve Four-Grain, Davidson Reserve Genesis and Davidson Reserve Tennessee Whiskey – all around 100 proof. The portfolio also includes Pickers Vodka and Walton’s Finest Vodka, where Pickers is distilled on a state-of-the-art column still and blended with Tennessee limestone water; Walton’s Vodka is produced from Tennessee Red Winter Wheat. • Pickers Vodka: made from non-GMO corn, distilled in a modern column still (state-of-the-art), 11 times, filtered 4 times and blended with Tennessee limestone water. Flavors: Original, Blueberry, Blood Orange, Pineapple and Pink Lemon; all made with real fruit.
• Whisper Creek Tennessee Sipping Cream: a creamy liqueur with real dairy and 100% aged Tennessee Whisky.
• Davidson Reserve Whisky: debuted in 2017 as a Rye; later variants include Davidson Reserve Four-Grain, Davidson Reserve Genesis and Davidson Reserve Tennessee Whisky, all around 100 proof. The whiskey undergoes long aging in oak barrels.
• Walton’s Finest Vodka: distilled from Tennessee Red Winter Wheat; Walton’s is described as the first pot-distilled vodka.
• Davidson Reserve series and Pickers Vodka are produced at Pennington Distilling Co.'s facilities in Nashville.
