Paradise North Distillery is located in Green Bay, WI, and is a family-owned and operated company established in 2021. The idea of running a distillery came from Tom Feld's wish to own and operate a business where he could create a quality product. The Feld family is involved in the operation, and the business is described as a family affair that focuses on craftsmanship and quality.

Production / Manufacturing

Paradise North is an ARTISAN distillery that produces premium handcrafted spirits such as rum, vodka, gin, and whiskey. The production is described as handmade and full-bodied spirits. Examples of the products include Beach Road Silver Rum, Beach Road Gold Rum, and Beach Road Spiced Rum, where Beach Road Silver Rum is distilled in a pot still from domestically sourced blackstrap molasses and raw cane sugar with hints of caramel, molasses, and tropical fruits. Beach Road Gold Rum is double pot-distilled and aged in bourbon barrels, which gives notes of butterscotch, vanilla, and oak. Essential for gin is Essen House Gin, which is handcrafted in small batches with botanicals from the Midwest, including spruce tips, prickly ash berries, and birch bark, which give classic citrusy earthy notes. Ten Mile Straight Bourbon Whiskey is aged in new charred-oak barrels and provides a soft and round profile with hints of fruit and vanilla. Old M28 Bourbon Whiskey is small-batch and aged in small barrels to avoid woody harshness, with notes of vanilla and caramel as well as a spicy rye kick balanced by sweet corn. Old M-28 White Whiskey expresses the grain's roughness and aging is very short, which gives a clean whiskey flavor well suited for cocktails. The distillery also notes that production includes a range of spirits such as Essen House Vodka, Essen House Double Espresso Vodka, and Essen House Cherry Bounce, as well as a gin based on local botanicals.

Products / Whiskey Series

Paradise North's whiskey lineup includes Ten Mile Straight Bourbon Whiskey and Old M28 Bourbon Whiskey as well as Old M28 White Whiskey. Ten Mile Straight Bourbon is a wheated bourbon aged in new barrels and provides notes of vanilla and fruit. Old M28 Bourbon Whiskey is small-batch and aged in small barrels to highlight vanilla, caramel, and a spicy kick balanced by sweet, smooth corn. Old M28 White Whiskey is a raw expression of grain mash and is aged only briefly, which makes it particularly suitable for use in cocktails.

Visits / Experiences

Tours: Guided tours at Paradise North with intimate groups up to 12 people and a tasting with at least four 1/2 oz samples of their signature spirits. On the day of the tour there is a 10% discount on bottle or merchandise purchases. Igloo Rentals: Seasonal igloos with space for up to 6 guests (8 max) for 90 minutes, including heat, blankets, Bluetooth speakers, and games. Happy Hour: Every Wednesday to Friday from 4-6 PM with a $2 discount on cocktails and occasional live music.
