Old Soldier Distillery is a veteran-owned and -operated distillery in Tacoma, WA. Andrew Fairchok and Rodney Kaeding, longtime friends from different military backgrounds, joined forces to provide a taste and a mood from the past. Andy has 27 years in the Army and Rodney 20 years in the Air Force, and Old Soldier became a way to meet other service members. One of the distillery's friends now helps with production, and Joe Bennett handles accounting and operations and gives enthusiastic tours on weekends. According to the site, they were the first Craft Distillery in Tacoma – and nine years later they are still the only ones. You can visit a tasting room filled with antiques and get a free sample of their unique spirits.
